He was probably lucky to have two gauntlets, at the begin of the war the Home Guard had to do with no uniforms at all and a broomstick as rifle.

As Henk says, Pictures of M20 outfits are scarce. Here is one from Bart Vanderveen's "Fighting Vehicles Directory" (bottom right) shown with the Swallow chassis. Henk's picture shows the same sidecar but fitted to Norton's own chassis. Sean Walsh has made a replica of the airfield protection armoured 3SW (bottom left) and will be displaying it at this years 'Goodwood Revival'.
Regarding the odd gauntlets. For some reason, all RAF gauntlets and shoes were made left and right in different factories. Probably to stop pilfering?

I thought that the different gauntlets were special for the Inglis so thay were not
