Hi I have a Matchless with engine number 41G3L 57567 and frame number 76929. It is Khaki colored but on removing tank its showing original paint of light desert brown, rear perished tyre is marked Made In Eqypt. Has girder front forks and not the tele so must have been changed also front guard has raised ridge down it which may suggest was also on a G3. No contract number or workshop data plate on it. Seems pretty original. I believe it was bought to Australia from Eqypt by a dealer in late 1990's. Any ideas where I can find year of make and anything else about it. Regards John
