Off topic - biker friendly guest houses in France wanted
I'm trying to organise a biking trip to the South of France this Summer. Maybe a little sooner. I doubt, however, it will be on the WM20. I just don't have the time to chug along two-up with luggage at 40-45mph (or, more likely 35-40mph). But I might yet change my mind and go anyway if I can find the time.
The last time I took the M20 to France (Normandy), it was just myself and a small travelling satchel. This time, I'm trying to get further and faster, with a pillion, but might not have much more than a week or so. I figure I'd need nearer a fortnight on the BSA.
With this in mind, does anyone have any suggestions of biker friendly guest houses between Calais and, say, Nice, please? Nothing fancy, and ideally something off the beaten track? I want to pass through Paris, incidentally (my other half hasn't been there).
