Yo Hi there, another help question, (sorry ill stop when the bikes done )
Does this look correct for the rear brake ? I got a fulcrum pin and washers, spring rod etc etc from russels, It seems self explanitory but is there supposed to be another washer where the red arrow is? Also should there be a shakeproof washer on the rear of the fulcrum? (back of frame fixing)
I'm not sure if it is in fact the wrong spring? It's always been on the bike since I got it. The hook seems too long for the correct location....Time to phone Les! Ron
I was a bit pissed at having what appears to be the wrong brake pedal spring fitted. So I just cleaned up another from a partly dismantled M20 I have here. Only to find this one doesn't fit properly either. There is no way it can be turned by nearly 360'. So it's on my list for Stafford. Ron
For many years, Photobucket was a free picture hosting site. Then they suddenly decided they wanted us to pay $400 a year. When we didn't pay, they deleted all our pictures. Loads of stuff that you could search for was lost.
Anyway, here is the illustration I have, and the one on Drag's site shows an exploded picture for order of assembly, although the fulcrum pin goes through the stop plate from the other side.
I make the OD of the front washer 1 1/8". Maybe J O'B has a NOS original to confirm. Ron
