Ian, have my doubts about the BSC thread on the crankpin and nut. Used the tap/die today and it just does not look correct. Will be scratching my head for a few months.

Hi Henri...I can say without doubt the crankpin nut fits the drive side mainshaft...I have used them on frequent occasions as locknuts for the shock absorber nut.
I'll check the thread size, pitch etc. and get back to you...I was pretty sure it was 3/4"x20 but now you have sown the seeds of doubt!....Ian
