I found two roller bearings on drive side when stripping my spare engine. One roller and one ball bearing on timing side. Can this be factory configuration? Roller bearings are Hoffmann and ball bearing is SKF.

Hi Kalle..There should be a ball and a lipped roller on the drive (clutch) side and a ball and another lipped roller on the timing side.When I wrote up the piece about bearings for the 'tech section' for some reason I left out the timing side ball...that one should be an RLS7. I must get Henk to put that right!......Ian

Hello. Small roller bearing on drive side is R125LL. Just interesting fact. I don't believe this engine is repaired before.
