Would anyone know if there was a rear spindle that fits the M20, has the same fittings, but is 1-2 inches longer, well it was when it was put on my frame, thanks.
Re: Rear spindle, same fittings as M20 but longer?
No sensible suggestions Kit as I am not too conversant with pre war BSAs that might have had such a thing...so my guess would be the 30.5 Cubic inch M20 'Fatbob' or the 'made for the UK only' Indian version ..Ian
Re: Rear spindle, same fittings as M20 but longer?
thanks Ian, I bought it at Kempton with John and it had quite a bit of the preserve grease on it, which had gone hard, which makes me think it wasnt from India.

Too late, I chopped off the excess!!! I had to as it was fouling the stand spring, I saw it and it did look like a genuine one, but I'd say it was about 1 1/2" longer.

Wow just looked those up, what lovely V Twins, whats the story with them. I'm guessing uber rare and jolly dear, but they probably sound wonderful, needless to say they look the dogs dangly bits.
