Anybody remember any of these, all from the same 24-house street in Denholme: Ivan Pickles (49/50), Malcolm Squires (59/60), Neville Lumbers(60/61), Derek Taylor(53/54), Neil Myerscough(48/49), Paul Whittaker(59/60), Howard Blackburn(60/61)? The numbers are my guesses of their start year at KBGS.
At first I thought this was quite a lot of grammar school boys from one street of council houses in a hillbilly village, but the span of about 10 years means it is probably not that extraordinary. Purely in the interest of statistics you understand, and not of course in any way wishing to be competitive, I wonder how many of you can list a similar number within 24 houses of you in your street?
