Only Prayer, with Divine intervention from God, can overturn the news, I am about to share here.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, however, I believe I should make this announcement now, to prepare those who read here, and those who posted here in the past and some who still do.
With a sad and heavy heart, due to unforeseen circumstances which have recently transpired I type this post,
with reluctance, praying it wasn't so, but this is the reality of my situation at present.
Last Monday, Oct. 15, my husband and I had our yearly eye exams. My husband received a new prescription for glasses, and I received an appointment to see an eye surgeon, for cataract eye surgery. My left eye has a moderate size cataract which is causing vision problems, the right eye has a very small one. If that wasn't enough, he told me I have "high pressure" in both of my eyes, he couldn't tell me "exactly" what the cause could be, it's up to the specialist to determine the cause.
I just found out today, that my first appointment to see the specialist, will be on January 25th, 2019, and the second one will be shortly after; will find out tomorrow exactly when.
I am concerned how well the cataract surgery on my left eye will go; although I am more concerned on the "high pressure" on both eyes more than ever. Most cataracts come with aging. My husband has cataracts in both eyes too, but they are small and don't affect his vision, and I pray they never get any larger.
On April 7th, 2009 Rapture Flight to Heaven came into existence! Nine Years, & six months gone by, so quickly.
I started RFTH with God's guidance, and with my faithful helper Kathy G., who has been with me since we began, I am most grateful. I'm also grateful to all those who helped out during my recent cancer health problems and surgeries; thank you and may the good Lord reward each and everyone of you for your faithfulness, participation, and Christian love. Rapture Flight to Heaven is paid up to end of September, therefore, I will leave the site up for 2019 until then.
I will try to keep the site up God willing until I see the specialist; hopefully this will be the case I pray.
Please remember me in your prayers, for my eyesight, that God willing, overturn this situation from something bad to something good. For God turns all things for good for those who love Him, and I do, love the Lord with all my heart.

I’m so sorry your health has been so hard on you to say the least! Are you able to read now? They think by January surgery or you won’t be able to see then? Sorry I’m confused reading your post. 😓you’ve been through so much SO CLOSE to us going home! I almost posted yesterday just my feelings of how much longer .. and it can’t be that far away with so much birth pains and evil tension! I will be SO SURPRISED to see the year 2022 hit. I’m believe we will be gone much sooner but don’t see us here past 2021.
Relooking back in my prayer journal this morning and in October of 2010 I journaled he layed on my heart 19-19-19. I saw those three same numbers like that almost like we put our dates like today is 10-23-18! Maybe it’s next year! I’m ready this fall... OK TODAY!🤗

You spoke of high pressure in your eyeballs; that sounds like glaucoma to me. Fortunately, glaucoma doesn't have to result in blindness; there are eyedrops that you can take to control the disease and prevent it from destroying your vision. My late aunt on my mother's side had glaucoma, and she had to take the drops to preserve her sight; fortunately, she was successful in doing so. If that's what you're diagnosed with, you should be able to take the eyedrops, too.

Thank you for your words of love and comfort; hopefully we will be Raptured prior to 2021. Yes, I have been through a lot lately. Trying to stay strong, in thought and in prayer, but there are times, I'm so tired, I wish it was all over by now; the Rapture is what I'm referring too.
My sight in my left eye is somewhat blurry, and it seems, my right eye is trying to compensate for it; which means strain on it, as well. The high pressure could be glaucoma, which I pray and hope it's not. Doesn't the bible say, that God will not give us more than we can handle; I don't think I could handle, God forbid being disabled and blind on top of it. I think I would go into a deep depression, which would dampen my spirit and will to live; most likely I'd be praying for God to take me home prior to the Rapture instead. Praying this will not end up being the case scenario. I don't believe the good Lord would allow me to carry more than I can handle.
I have two appointments at present, to see the specialist, Jan. 21st, 2019 for more extensive tests for the high pressure, as well as for the moderate cataract in my left eye. Then on Feb.1, 2019, I'll come back for the results. Until then I'll just have to take it one day at a time. Surgery most likely, would be early February? If there is a sudden a drastic change in my vision, I'll end up going to emergency in hospital.
Besides that, back for a mammogram at the end of March 2019, and I have an appointment with the cancer surgery on March 29th, 2019...for followup.
Therefore, it would be understandable, I would have to shut the site down...all depends on what transpires next.
Please continue to remember me in your prayers Amanda, pray that I will keep my eyesight, until we are Raptured, or until my death, whichever comes first.

We'll have to see what develops. Hallelujah if we're Raptured before this year is out! =) If that does not happen, though, and if worst comes to worst and you do lose your sight--and I pray that you won't!--all I can say is that if God calls you to shut the forum down at that point, then we will have to accept His will, all of us. But please, all I request is that before you make any final decisions regarding RFTH, you make sure that that is, in fact, His will.

You are so right, demonic attacks are increasing, therefore, the Rapture must be very close now. Actually, those were my exact thoughts, just the other night. I see many other Christians going through their own trials which seem to be increasing in numbers and intensity with time.

Yes, we'll see what God has in store for us this year end 2018. Perhaps, the Rapture, now wouldn't that be the event of all events in our lifetime. It would be the end of this earthly life, with a new beginning with an instant incorruptible body at the Rapture Flight..Hallelujah, Praise the Lord, Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.
However, if the Rapture timing is not God's will in 2018 year end, I'm praying, and asking for prayers, that my eyesight will improve, and I will be able to continue, the work at RFTH; which I believe, the Lord has lead me to do here.
This is why I said in the subject title "Possible Shut Down", possibility is there, but the outcome and probability is up to our Lord and God.
Kathy, God willing all goes well, and I am able; I'm more than willing to continue to keep this site up and running. You need not concern yourself; I will take it all to the Lord in prayer, whatever His will is for this site is, I will follow through. God willing, we'll all be in a better place before this year ends.

Here is an awesome miracle, shared by a Pastor...watch and be bless. I prayed for a miracle for my eyes at the end with this Pastor, and I believe God heard my prayer. God is still doing miracles, all in His perfect timing.

God has won the victory over Cancer, which tried to destroy my health and life. Thanks be to God's mercy and to everyone who has kept me in their prayers. God loves you, one and all, and so do I my family in Christ Jesus. We will meet in Heaven one day, where no one has pain, gets sick, or ever dies again. Come April 7th, 2019, Rapture Flight to Heaven will celebrate 10 years. Praise God!
Now, I have an appointment. in January with an eye specialist, re, high pressure in both eyes, and fair size cataract on my left eye. I'm so praying, I can keep my eyesight, until the Lord comes at the Rapture, or until my appointed day of my death, whichever comes first. I want to finish the work I started for the Lord, with Rapture Flight to Heaven, as I felt lead by the Lord to start it in the first place.

Dear ones in Christ Jesus, this is an update, of what took place today for those who are interested.
Three different tests were done today. One was called a field test, another was an ultrasound, and the last one I forget the name. They frozen each eye then this electric/sound prob was touching each eye separately and sounds and graph was sent to this computerized machine. At my next appointment, they are going to put drops in to see the back of my eyes much deeper. I was also told that I am to come back on Feb. 4th, at 2:00 pm, for all my results, and then I will meet with specialist, and she will give me the news, and what should be done next.
Everything went fine without any problems, except, it was freezing cold here, and it was very chilly even from the front door of the house to the car.
I'm still hoping and praying to keep my eyesight, so that I can continue, keeping Rapture Flight to Heaven up and running, until the Lord comes.
Thank you everyone, who is keeping me in their prayers; I can't explain it, but I feel your prayers are helping me to continue to see, and keep on watching with everyone here.

The doctor has booked me for eye laser surgery at St. Joseph's hospital, on Monday February 11th at 8:45 am.
Return visit to Dr. Bezel's office on Monday February 19th, at 1:20pm..
She said she wants to cut into the blue part of my eye with a laser to release the pressure in my right eye, and help it drain. If nothing is done, it will lead to blindness. The left eye cataract will be left for now, as it is not interfering with my daily life at present. Unfortunately, there is a one year waiting list for cataract surgery, I overheard the receptionist on the telephone.
Perhaps Kathy, will post the daily updates come the 11th, 12th of February...if not I hope to be back on the 3rd day, if my doctor permits. It's just a matter of time, and the out come of the surgery, on whether I will be able to continue and keep Rapture Flight to Heaven up and running. God only knows, and time will tell.

Thanks Kathy, I sure could use good news. This year seems like a continuance of last year...surgeries, doctors, hospitals...I'm so worn out. Please Lord hear and answer Kathy's prayer for me, in Jesus name I pray. Amen!
Please pray that there will be no thunderstorms in my area on the 11th or 12th, because I have to shut off and unplug my desktop when we're in a storm, and it's no easy task to select, copy, and paste on an Android tablet.
Kathy, I pray for you and your needs daily.
Don't worry about trying to paste and post tonight or any night, especially next week after my surgery. I will look after it, if possible, if not, I'll shut the site down until I'm able to return. Hope there was no thunder storm tonight or it's already passed.

Update: Thanks be to God! Thanks for your prayers, all went as good as possible.
Had the laser surgery to release the pressure "on both eyes"...need to take 4 drops each day on each eye, for 4 days.
Need to stay off the computer, to prevent strain and headaches. I actually felt the laser, somewhat, perhaps the doctor didn't freeze it enough or the freezing wore off. The surgery was booked for 8:45am, she didn't get to me almost 10 am. A whole slew of patients all for the same appointment time...couldn't believe the crowd before me.
I will be away for 4 days minimum, so whoever, would like to update the daily threads, you're welcome too; I'm sure Kathy would appreciate it the help and so would I. Otherwise, Kathy will let me know, and I can lock the site up for the next four days at least if not longer.
Will see how good everything turned out on my follow up appointment Feb. 19, 2019.

First of all thank you very much Kathy, for updated the message forum daily, until I return. Most likely I should be back on Feb. 19th, after my follow up appointment that day at 1:20pm. Thank God so far so good, we'll see, what the doctor says on my Tuesday appointment.

A death in the family:
The day of my surgery, Feb 11th, our daughter-in-law's Father "Antonio" passed away at 8:45 am in hospital, after a long illness and having a stroke. Today, we will be attending his funeral and burial. Please pray for Gloria, Paul, and her family, especially her Mother, Marlene for strength, to endure today and every day forth, without their loved one. May God's love fill the void they will feel.
Antonio was a very kind & cheerful man, who accepted the Lord Jesus as his Lord and Savior, decades ago. We know that he truly is at rest and peace, with the light of God shining upon him. Surely, the Lord has prepared a special place for him and for all who love the Lord. May we all be reunited with Antonio one day in heaven, especially with our dearly departed loved ones.

Follow up visit and check up after the laser surgery in both eyes, last week. Today Dr. Brezel, gave me the good news that the tiny laser holes in my eyes are draining the extra fluid, therefore, releasing the high pressure in my eyes, preventing me from losing my sight and living with glaucoma. The cataract in my left eye is not a issue at present, and can be left alone, indefinitely unless it progresses further causing vision problems in the future.
Another victory for God and the Lord's children.
I'm very happy that I can continue, this message board.
