Isn't it great that the one true God who has power,love,mercy and every good thing you can think about Him is on our side and He promise to take care of us in every way against the wicked. This is so heart warming and we have His peace and He told us that everything would work out for the good for those who love Him.

Tom, It's wonderful to know that God is with us, and we have nothing to fear. God gives us His peace that surpasses all understanding, for the good Lord always has our best interest at heart. Yes everything will work out for the good for those who love Him, and God knows the heart of each individual, whether that person's heart is for God or not. We can always, count on God's word and promises, will always come to pass as it is written. What an awesome God we serve, without Him, we couldn't even take our next breathe.

We love you Lord, and give you all Glory and Honor which rightfully belongs to the Lord our God. Amen!

Valerie, you posted some of my favorite scriptures that have ministered to me during the times that I have been afraid and needed strength and encouragement. The Lord is so wonderful and merciful to us.

The Bible verse that has ministered to me the most and I quote over and over again when I am afraid is Isaiah 41:10:

'Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

I remember a time when I was sharing with a Christian counselor that I struggled with fear from time to time, and she asked me, "Why do you think God tells us to "fear not"?" I told her, "Because He doesn't want us to be afraid". I will never forget her response. She told me, "No, it's because He KNOWS that we ARE afraid!" I loved that. I always felt condemned for being afraid, like I was lacking faith. But what she said changed my perspective. Now I see God as an understanding Father who realizes that we, as finite human beings, are going to be afraid, and when we are, He is right there to give us comfort and assurance of His provision so we will have faith in Him so we WON'T be afraid!

God is good.

Exactly, the Christian counselor is correct. Jack Van Impe spoke about this once. It is the truth.
