I had read a couple of weeks ago that another "polar vortex" would hit early in September and here it comes. The thing about the headline of this story that stands out to me is the number 7 - "Seven States" will have snow by Tuesday. 7 is God's key number and when I see it in a context like this it always pops out and says "pay attention".

Another thing, the headline of the story starts out with "Say goodbye to summer". Reminds me of the verse from Ecclesiastes that says, "summer is over, the harvest is ended and we are not saved." Harvest coming to a premature end with early snow. That is so brazenly, visibly prophetic that it is hard to ignore.

That's really early to have freezing temps & snow!

Just this past week we had some hot summer weather, while through
the rest of the summer it was on a more spring like type weather without the humidity I love Spring, warm and hot but without the humidity.

I'm really not looking forward to winter, as last winter was the worst winter we ever experienced living here in the city, since we were children.
We're prepared for the worst, and praying for the best, if we still should be here this winter coming. Praying otherwise, that we'll be home at last, where the weather is perfect, at all times.

Valerie, like you I do not look forward to winter. Summer in Texas is usually pretty awful but this year instead of the temps in July and August running between 100-106 they were mostly in the 90's. Even so, cool weather would be nice, but not the grueling, freezing icy weather we had last year. If this is our year for the rapture then I pray that Jesus comes before winter.

As Paul said to Timothy in 2 Timothy 4:21a: Do hasten and try your best to come to me before winter.

It is hard to imagine snow so early! I hope you don't suffer like you did last winter. Hoping we want be here.

I live in Florida where you can fry an egg on the sidewalk in the summer. Don't you wish we could make the weather a perfect 77 degrees everywhere in the United States all year long. I think Hawaii has a perfect temperature year round like this, the only thing is they have to share their perfect weather with volcanoes and lava flows.

Our winters have become so mild it isn't much relief from the summer. The mosquitoes are still out at Christmas.
