1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing

Revisiting the expulsion of Jews from Spain

Fair Use for Information and Discussion Purposes

Good morning all, there just seems something "full circle" about this, with a blood moon tetrad beginning in April.
This article might be interesting to you:
Spain Grants Citizenship to Expulsion Descendants

Excerpt: "Spain’s government approved a bill on Friday that makes it possible for Sephardic Jews to receive Spanish citizenship and retain their existing citizenship. The bill was proposed by the ruling Popular Party. The bill has yet to be voted upon by lawmakers in Spain’s Congress of Deputies…

Many Sephardic Israelis appear to be interested in obtaining Spanish citizenship because it would confer various privileges on its owner, by virtue of Spain's membership in the EU.

On March 30, 1492, Spain's King Ferdinand and Queen Isabela decreed that the entire Jewish community of Spain, numbering some 200,000 people, must leave the country in four months' time. The Jews' expulsion had been the pet project of the Spanish Inquisition, headed by Father Tomas de Torquemada, who believed that as long as the Jews remained in Spain, they would influence the tens of thousands of recent Jewish converts to Christianity to continue practicing Judaism.

The short time span forced the Jews to liquidate their homes and businesses at absurdly low prices. By July 30, the Jews were gone from Spain. After the expulsion, the Sephardim imposed an informal ban forbidding Jews from ever again living in Spain."

Here we are, 522 years later, March 30, 1492 was the Julian calendar date.
This date equals 2 Nisan 5252, or equal to April 8, 1492 if trying to "make it" Gregorian.

So what. Well, on 2 Nisan, this is the anniversary of when Moses had the red heifer prepared to use in the tabernacle, back when the tribes were still wandering. Mishkan means the tabernacle. In that first tabernacle, the sacrifice was to "ritually purify the Jewish nation in preparation for the bringing of the Paschal Lamb in the newly erected Sanctuary. "
We know that Jesus is the Lamb of God, God come to us in flesh who saves us through Himself.
2 Nisan this year falls on Wed, April 2. When the Lord turns His attention to the last week of Daniel, it will be to bring the Jewish people to Himself, purified not by an animal given in their place, but by them recognizing and receiving the Lamb of God. Jesus is the place for them to gather to in order to be purified and be at peace with God. Grace and peace comes through Jesus the Lamb and Son of God. An anniversary of this 2 Nisan, this year April 2 date is happening prior to the start of the blood moon tetrad, which begins on Passover.
I am wondering if "something significant" will happen before the first of the blood moons on Passover, Apr 14, 14 Nisan at sundown.

I looked up Global Media Outreach after hearing about them on Pastor JD's update from CalvaryChapelKaneohe.
We are burning daylight, as the saying goes. If any of you feel led, I encourage you to check this online ministry out.

Come quickly Lord Jesus

Re: Revisiting the expulsion of Jews from Spain

This is stunning news Regina! I just read your entire post with eyes wide! Did you notice that the date on God's calendar (Hebrew calendar) and the date on our calendar (Gregorian) are syncronized? The second day of Nissan and the second day of April are the on the same day. It is worth mentioning that Nissan is the FIRST month in the sacred calendar. Rosh Hoshannah or Feast of Trumpets in the fall is the always on the first day of Tishri and is the first day of the civil calendar. When God brought the children of Abraham out of Egyptian slavery He instituted Nissan 1 as the beginning of the sacred calendar containing all the holy days/feast days/moeds or appointed times.

Billye Brim is teaching on this and the second half of the book of Daniel this week and next on the Beliver's Voice of Victory. Here is the link if anyone wants to watch. Whether we observe the hebraic calendar or not, God does. If we want to know what He is saying to us in His time reference it is good to know what these times on His calendar mean. Billye is an excellent teacher on this subject due to learning Hebrew in Israel and the fact that she spends part of each year there and has for sometime now.

Hi Valerie and Texas Sue!
Sue, you said

Did you notice that the date on God's calendar (Hebrew calendar) and the date on our calendar (Gregorian) are syncronized? The second day of Nissan and the second day of April are the on the same day. It is worth mentioning that Nissan is the FIRST month in the sacred calendar.
Yes, this got my attention as well! The religious Hebrew year on God's calendar overlays, or aligns with man's Gregorian calendar this year. I don't know how often this happens, but I do know it is happening shortly with Nisan 1 being the first day of the first month of the Hebrew calendar and it is April 1 on our calendar.

The ashes of the red heifer were used to sprinkle towards the sanctuary, to cleanse priests before they would be ritually clean to serve before the Lord. They were not clean on their own, but a sacrifice, a special sacrifice was needed. 2 Nisan, April 2 is the anniversary of when Moses prepared the first red heifer for purification, see Numbers 19. Note that these priests were then pure, if they kept themselves so in obedience to God, for when Passover came. They were purified before Passover.

It is true that as Gentiles, and for all including Jewish people who have received the forgiveness and grace of God through His Son that we do not ritually sacrifice. Jesus is the sacrifice whom God provided, Himself. He saves with His own right hand, and Jesus was certainly red at sacrifice, he was whipped beyond recognition. Paul clarified to the church in his time, that we are saved by grace. So I am not suggesting we who are under the grace of Jesus go back to all the law. However, look at this timing because there is a final week of God's redemptive work with the Jewish people, which Daniel was told:Daniel 9:24-26
Gabriel's Prophecy of the Seventy Weeks- Daniel 9
…24 "Seventy weeks have been decreed for your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sin, to make atonement for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy place. 25"So you are to know and discern that from the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince there will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; it will be built again, with plaza and moat, even in times of distress. 26"Then after the sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. And its end will come with a flood; even to the end there will be war; desolations are determined

Daniel 12: 8-13
8 As for me, I heard but could not understand; so I said, “My lord, what will be the outcome of these events?” 9He said, “Go your way, Daniel, for these words are concealed and sealed up until the end time. 10“Many will be purged, purified and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who have insight will understand. 11“From the time that the regular sacrifice is abolished and the abomination of desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. 12“How blessed is he who keeps waiting and attains to the 1,335 days! 13“But as for you, go your way to the end; then you will enter into rest and rise again for your allotted portion at the end of the age.”
The sanctuary was destroyed in 70ad, but the abomination of desolation will defile a new sanctuary. The coming new sanctuary cannot be in use until the Levite priests are made ritually clean with the ashes of the red heifer. An anniversary of when Moses performed the first cleansing is coming up. Does it have to be done on the anniversary?
I don't know about that. I do know the priests would have to be cleansed ceremonially before they could serve in the tabernacle (if it is a tent) or a temple. They do not recognize Jesus yet, so they will go back to the law requirement.

April 1: Nisan 1 alignment of Gregorian and Hebrew calendars

April 2: Nisan 2 anniversary of when Moses first ritually cleansed the tabernacle and priests with the ashes of a red heifer mixed with spring water (now that reminds me of the crucifixion and that spear in Jesus side bringing out blood and water)

April 14: Nisan 14 sundown-April 15 sundown: first day of Passover; 1st blood moon eclipse of the tetrad of 2014-2015

It reminds me of when a tumbler goes click in a lock or a key fits. The calendar matches, there is a red heifer, will Israeli rabbis use it this year for cleansing themselves in preparation for a temple and for passover?
I'm just looking hopefully for the Lord's return. Maranatha
