1 Thessalonians 4:15-18
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing .

Sue, our little dog Furby, a white & blonde shi-poo, turned 15 years old today. It's his birthday today as well. For every one of our years, a dog year equal 7. 15 X 7= 105 years old.
Wouldn't it be awesome if today, the Rapture took place today on your Birthday!

WOW! A party on a thread! What a wonderful birthday celebration you all have put together for me. I saw your first post before I left for work this morning Valerie but didn't have time to watch the videos or post a response. Could hardly wait to get home and enjoy all the bells and whistles!

thanks so much for remembering my birthday and starting this thread. You have a super memory. I loved the timed-lapse photography of the rose in the first video, just beautiful. And when I heard the Beatle birthday song, I just laughed and laughed. There is no way you could have known this but that song is a family tradition at birthdays now since my oldest daughter is a big Beatles fan. For years she would call up and play a recording of that over the phone for my birthday, my sisters' and her sister. Then we all got into the routine and would call each other up and sing it everytime one of us had a birthday! We always get a big laugh out of it. You are truly my sister because you sent me the Beatles' birthday song and didn't even know about this!

CWM, I don't know if you are from Texas or not, just wanted to let you know that "The Eyes of Texas Are Upon You" would be our national anthem if we were again an independent republic. Every true Texan knows that one by heart, and did you notice it is almost a rapture song - "TILL GABRIEL BLOWS HIS HORN" is the rapture call!

you may not know this but Roy Rogers is my favorite cowboy star ever. I grew up with Roy and Dale and Trigger & Bullet the Wonder Dog on TV. Love the song too!! The Yellow Rose of Texas is a big favorite of mine too. Thank you very much.

I had never seen that cartoon and it is very funny. I loved it. Thank you for finding it for me.
I wish we could all be together in person. Wouldn't that be fun! We would have chocolate fudge cake of course along with Blue Bell Ice Cream manufactored right here in Texas. I would be bold enough to say it is the world's best ice cream. My favorite flavor is Pralines & Cream. It has crushed up praline pecan candy stirred into the homemade vanilla just before they package it. Good stuff! Will we have ice cream in heaven? Sure hope so!

I too wish we could all be together having ice cream and other goodies. I am sure we will have ice cream in heaven. I think we will have the same food we had here but maybe not meat because we won't be killing animals? I don't know.
Everything that is good will stay, heaven on earth. Finally! If we don't have ice cream, whatever we will have can only be more delicious.
