1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

   For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom: Jer 18:12

Fair Use for Information and Discussion Purposes
Use Your Discernment

Dear RFTH family, there is so much talk of rebels and terrorists and activists in the world today. Fear gets scattered like salt on french fries.

The bible teaches us that the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.
It also teaches us that when love is perfect, there is no fear.
Do we fear God? Do we seek Him to walk in love with Him?
Here is an outcome, a warning, history from the old testament to guide,
to set us on the correct path.
Fear God for who He is, that is maker of all. King of the Universe.
Love God for who He is, that is holy, faithful, merciful, gracious, righteous, forgiving, loving, patient, meek and much much more.
He deserves our love and obedience.

God bless you, comfort you, hold you close and guide you.
Trust the Good Shepherd with everything tonight.

Jeremiah 18:11-12
11 "So now then, speak to the men of Judah and against the inhabitants of Jerusalem saying, 'Thus says the LORD, "Behold, I am fashioning calamity against you and devising a plan against you. Oh turn back, each of you from his evil way, and reform your ways and your deeds."' 12 "But they will say, 'It's hopeless! For we are going to follow our own plans, and each of us will act according to the stubbornness of his evil heart.'

Here is the solution of God. Fear not. Beloved, sprinkle love like salt on french fries.

1John 4:7-14
7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. 12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. 13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. 14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

Thanks Regina, wonderful post and truth from scripture.

The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom!

When we fully understand, that God, longs that none should perish, and that all would be saved; our eyes are open to God's truth, God's Holy Word, and God's Holy Spirit whom guides and teaches us God's wisdom.

When we fear God, we become obedient to His teachings, and learn to walk and live in God's ways, from the Word of God, and from the guidance of God's Holy Spirit whom teaches us all things of the Lord.

We therefore, live in obedience and in love of God and loving one another; Then, God's perfect love casts out all fear, for we know God is for us and with us, not against us. For God is with us, therefore, we have nothing to fear, for there is no one greater that God, therefore, whom can snatch us away from God if we truly belong to the Lord, there is none.

For each one of us knows what awaits those whom do not fear God, and what God can do to the body, and soul, those whom continue to sin, and refuse to repent of their ways. For only a fool says in his heart there is no God. They proceed to disobey Him, and God's Holy word. They continue to live and do things their own wicked, evil ways, without considering the future consequences of their refusal, to follow God and His ways.

God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whomsoever believes on Him would be saved and not perish. God had given all sinners a way to willing come to Him, through Jesus whom paid the price in full; with His suffering, death, & resurrections for the sins of world. Those whom willing accept the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ, would be saved. Those whom refuse God and continue in their sinful ways have hell as their eternity payment reserved for them, with all the other fools who didn't fear God.

Wisdom begins with the fear of God, and God's perfect love casts out all our fears.

May God's perfect love and peace that surpasses all understand, comfort each and every one of you, as we witness these last moments on earth, before the arrival of our Lord and Savior Jesus.
