It is, of course, very easy to picture the US as a global bully ever bent on inventing pretexts for aggression. Iran will be jubilant. Many people in Syria will be inclined to resist a new imperialist crusade. Upping the ante is advantageous for Moscow. The more the western powers are involved in the conflict, the more deeply they are immersed, the more opportunities emerge for Russia to back the Assad regime as a “legitimate authority under attack”.

The French president has said a vote by UK MPs against involvement in military strikes on Syria has not changed France's resolve to take firm action. Francois Hollande said all options were being considered, and that a strike within days was not ruled out. His comments came after US Defence Secretary Chuck Hagel said Washington would continue to seek a coalition for possible military action.

Obama puts Syria strike on hold, opposition 'disappointed'

Syria's opposition expressed disappointment Sunday that President Barack Obama had put on hold military action against the Damascus regime, but said it was confident US lawmakers would green-light a strike. To general surprise, the US leader on Saturday broke with decades of precedent to announce that he would seek approval from Congress for action against Syria's alleged use of chemical weapons.

I watched J.D.'s earlier, up in the *STICKY* section...and I dare say that he got me all excited about our Rapture, when he mentioned the possibility of us hearing that Shofar sound anyday now.

Which immediately brought to my mind the openning segments of the Tim LaHaye-Jerry B. Jenkins' Left Behind: The Movie...for which Israel gets attacked, only to be protected by *THE* God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob. As supernatural forces was obliterating Israel's enemies' jets/or missles in the night sky even before they (the enemy) could land on their intended target.

Soon after that incident, the Rapture occurred...for which 1000s of people myteriously vanished into thin air.

That's why I truly believe that these prophetic wars J.D. mentioned in the OT in Isaiah 17, Psalm 83, Ezekiel 38, & Zechariah 12 could be what triggers our imminent depaarture. J.D. suggests that we could be departing B4 then, though.

Gee!!! I can't wait!!! Can you!?!
