Dedicated to God  the Father, Son, & Holy Spirit
1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing .

Thanks Regina, Kathy G., & Tammy, I'm glad you all like it too!

It is beautiful isn't it!!!
Just thought we could use a little change around here...and I thought this was so appropriate at the forum.

I think I have my head up in the clouds, looking way up!!! LOL!!!

It still has to be tweaked and I informed bravenet to cut it just below the first line. There is no application for me to do it myself, if there was I would correct it. Therefore, perhaps on their end, they can shorten for me. It just kept elongating for me for no reason, during the change over which I made.

Just try and imagine how beautiful Heaven is; this picture is just a taste of awesome things to come yet.

Yes, Valerie, I totally agree with you, re: that "MUCH" needed tweak!!! Just a tad would do, !?!

As I was googling for the song--"'Til The Storm Passes By" to post in Regina's above No fear because we are in God's hands; He is our refuge (check the sticky section @ the top) thread...I come across another song by Vestal Goodman singing about how beautiful heaven will be, too.

Thanks Mike T., I think it's a huge improvement as well.

It will be a reminder to all of us to keep "Looking up, our redemption draws nigh"!

Thanks to Bravenet for quickly fixing the elongating problem I asked them too as well.

It looks really nice now.

Valerie! I love it too!! And how appropriate, it truly comes at a time when we are all with our heads in the clouds. We are all filled with expectation waiting for our Lords glorious appearing. The background also has a very calming effect.

You're welcome Dale,

It's a picture of God's beautiful sky and rainbow colors, a small glimpse of Heaven on Earth. Just think of how beautiful Heaven will be.

Re: God's sky and His rainbow colors are amazingly beautiful

Valerie, this is a sweeping change and lovely to see. A few months ago a helper was working on my antivirus program remotely by phone and lost my screensaver which was beautiful. It had a big bouquet of Azaleas with my favorite bible verse Jeremiah 29:11. So I searched all over trying to find it again and could not. However I did find a lovely one with the sun bursting through a cloud filled blue sky just like the new background you have on the forum along with the verse from Psalms 57:11. So now for several months I have had this cloud filled blue sky screensaver and the forum background is so much like it. What a coincidence. Everytime I see clouds I think of the verses in Acts 1 where Jesus ascended up and was covered by the clouds. Then the angels telling the disciples that Jesus would come back exactly the way He left, in the clouds.

Re: God's sky and His rainbow colors are amazingly beautiful

I think the clouds of heaven must be lit up with light, filled with the glory, the beauty of the Lord reflecting in them. Clouds of glory.
