(Will God be judging Shimon Peres' solution as He judged Ahab and Jezebel over the vineyard of Naboth? If there is judgement for taking the vineyard from a son of Israel, what is the judgement for taking Jerusalem and the Land of Israel and transfering property to those who despise the authority of the Holy God of Israel, the Holy God of Jacob? Has the leadership of Israel become "a son of Ahab"? in declaring willingness to give away God's territory to heathen?

1 Kings 21
Ahab Covets Naboth's Vineyard

1And it came to pass after these things, that Naboth the Jezreelite had a vineyard, which was in Jezreel, hard by the palace of Ahab king of Samaria. 2And Ahab spake unto Naboth, saying, Give me thy vineyard, that I may have it for a garden of herbs, because it is near unto my house: and I will give thee for it a better vineyard than it; or, if it seem good to thee, I will give thee the worth of it in money. 3And Naboth said to Ahab, The LORD forbid it me, that I should give the inheritance of my fathers unto thee. 4And Ahab came into his house heavy and displeased because of the word which Naboth the Jezreelite had spoken to him: for he had said, I will not give thee the inheritance of my fathers. And he laid him down upon his bed, and turned away his face, and would eat no bread.

5But Jezebel his wife came to him, and said unto him, Why is thy spirit so sad, that thou eatest no bread? 6And he said unto her, Because I spake unto Naboth the Jezreelite, and said unto him, Give me thy vineyard for money; or else, if it please thee, I will give thee another vineyard for it: and he answered, I will not give thee my vineyard. 7And Jezebel his wife said unto him, Dost thou now govern the kingdom of Israel? arise, and eat bread, and let thine heart be merry: I will give thee the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.

8So she wrote letters in Ahab's name, and sealed them with his seal, and sent the letters unto the elders and to the nobles that were in his city, dwelling with Naboth. 9And she wrote in the letters, saying, Proclaim a fast, and set Naboth on high among the people: 10And set two men, sons of Belial, before him, to bear witness against him, saying, Thou didst blaspheme God and the king. And then carry him out, and stone him, that he may die.

Jezebel's Plot

11And the men of his city, even the elders and the nobles who were the inhabitants in his city, did as Jezebel had sent unto them, and as it was written in the letters which she had sent unto them. 12They proclaimed a fast, and set Naboth on high among the people. 13And there came in two men, children of Belial, and sat before him: and the men of Belial witnessed against him, even against Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying, Naboth did blaspheme God and the king. Then they carried him forth out of the city, and stoned him with stones, that he died. 14Then they sent to Jezebel, saying, Naboth is stoned, and is dead.

15And it came to pass, when Jezebel heard that Naboth was stoned, and was dead, that Jezebel said to Ahab, Arise, take possession of the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite, which he refused to give thee for money: for Naboth is not alive, but dead. 16And it came to pass, when Ahab heard that Naboth was dead, that Ahab rose up to go down to the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite, to take possession of it.

Elijah Denounces Ahab and Jezebel

17And the word of the LORD came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying, 18Arise, go down to meet Ahab king of Israel, which is in Samaria: behold, he is in the vineyard of Naboth, whither he is gone down to possess it. 19And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Hast thou killed, and also taken possession? And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, In the place where dogs licked the blood of Naboth shall dogs lick thy blood, even thine.

20And Ahab said to Elijah, Hast thou found me, O mine enemy? And he answered, I have found thee: because thou hast sold thyself to work evil in the sight of the LORD. 21Behold, I will bring evil upon thee, and will take away thy posterity, and will cut off from Ahab him that ******* against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel, 22And will make thine house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah, for the provocation wherewith thou hast provoked me to anger, and made Israel to sin. 23And of Jezebel also spake the LORD, saying, The dogs shall eat Jezebel by the wall of Jezreel. 24Him that dieth of Ahab in the city the dogs shall eat; and him that dieth in the field shall the fowls of the air eat.

Ahab's Repentance

25But there was none like unto Ahab, which did sell himself to work wickedness in the sight of the LORD, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up. 26And he did very abominably in following idols, according to all things as did the Amorites, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.

27And it came to pass, when Ahab heard those words, that he rent his clothes, and put sackcloth upon his flesh, and fasted, and lay in sackcloth, and went softly. 28And the word of the LORD came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying, 29Seest thou how Ahab humbleth himself before me? because he humbleth himself before me, I will not bring the evil in his days: but in his son's days will I bring the evil upon his house.


Is He smiling at other nations and religions wanting to

Even Darius feared God- Even Darius knew that God caused His name to be in Jerusalem. Will God share His name and honor with another? Does God share His throne in heaven with another god or some political party agenda of man?
God have mercy on Israel lest they be totally destroyed, binding themself to nations that hate the God of Israel. The bible tells us only 1/3 will remain.
Those 1/3 will finally say "the Lord is my God".
We are so near the time of Jacob's trouble, the time the prophets spoke of and the time John recorded in Revelation.

WILL it take Syria's destruction to get this treaty from H--- signed?
I don't think it can be done with out it. Like shock n aw type of situation.

But Amos chapter 1 talks about Damascus......verse 7 says and I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza, which will devour the Palaces thereof.

Jerem. 47 verse 4 for the day is coming to destroy all the Philistines, to cut off from Tyre and Sidon every helper who remains. For the LORD is destroying the Philistines, the remnant of the coastlands of Caphtor.

So if God deals with the Palestinians by wiping them out.....who gets the divided city in the end?

Of course I am not sure how it will play out. The situation in Syria is such an "annoyance". Not to intend lightness of the situation because so many have perished and lost so much. What I mean is that someone wants rulership over that area and Assad is not giving in. He is actually correct that he has been in charge and outside interests want him out.
Do outside interests want the US, UK, and Russia changed also as Mark talks about in his video?
Will they go peacefully with a practiced smile? I wouldn't think so.
This world is in for catastrophe. People need Jesus.
Whoever wants that land and resource cannot go ahead with those plans until Assad is out. However, the bible tells us Damascus ends up being a ruinous heap. It also tells us that one day there will be a highway between Syria and Egypt and there will be peace along that corridor of land.
I pray to Holy Almighty God that though governments change, though destruction comes, to please draw men to Jesus to be saved and live to rebuild the land.

1And he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him. 2And the LORD said to Satan, The LORD rebuke you, O Satan; even the LORD that has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?

By God's grace are we saved, and, the Lord has chosen Jerusalem. Noone has the right to divide it. Would the US give up half of DC? France half of Paris? Half of Moscow? Half of London?...Its beyond ridiculous, it is evil.

Hi Mary, been thinking about your question. It's hard to imagine Israel signing a peace treaty while Syria's civil war is spilling into Israel's borders(and outside forces are trying to overthrow Assad). It doesn't make sense.
As far as I can tell, though talks are about peace, the Muslim nations surrounding Jerusalem and Israel want to have the land, they don't want peace.
If Syria attacks Israel, say in retaliation for Israel targeting weapons, it makes more sense that forces from Gaza and other anti Israel forces would join in. This doesn't seem like a peace table yet.

It is the Lord gathering peoples together, this is His plan as the bible tells us. The Parable of the Wheat and the Weeds from Matthew 13

24 He presented another parable to them: “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field.
25 But while people were sleeping, his enemy came, sowed weeds among the wheat, and left.
26 When the plants sprouted and produced grain, then the weeds also appeared.
27 The landowner’s slaves came to him and said, ‘Master, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Then where did the weeds come from? ’

28 “ ‘An enemy did this! ’ he told them.

“ ‘So, do you want us to go and gather them up? ’ the slaves asked him.

29 “ ‘No,’ he said. ‘When you gather up the weeds, you might also uproot the wheat with them.
30 Let both grow together until the harvest. At harvest time I’ll tell the reapers: Gather the weeds first and tie them in bundles to burn them, but store the wheat in my barn.’ ”

The tares are gathered when the wheat is ripe for harvest.
It's a parable but it's an accurate parable. Perhaps this is why the Lord returns to fight when He does, because during the time of coming against Jerusalem, people call on Him to save them in this time of trouble.
The wheat is becoming mature and tares are being revealed as being tares. Perhaps if He returns too soon the wheat (His planting) is uprooted with the tares (enemy planting); so with the rapture, as much as I want to see the Lord today, God has a perfect planned time. We need to trust Him. Rest in His holiness and peace.

The Lord makes Jerusalem a cup of trembling. It becomes a lure, like a fishing lure. The trembling of Jerusalem is like blood to sharks. Enemies grow around Jerusalem & Israel; at God's time they are destroyed.
The Lord Jesus is a master fisherman and a master gardener.
He knows how to take care of His own.

Lisa over at BelieversCentral1 pointed out something interesting, that is that these wheat get gathered into the barn. The barn is shelter on the owners property but not the master's own home. John 14 says in my Father's house are many mansions, I go to prepare a place for you.
Being in the Father's house with a place prepared for us is not the same as being gathered into a barn. Lisa's take implies that wheat is saved Israel and tribulation saints, while those who go to the Father's house are the bride of Christ. The bride of Christ may be at the Father's house before the peace treaty is signed.

Not may be, but will be! The peace treaty cannot be confirmed until the Church is out of here, because that event is what will officially start the Tribulation.

So it must be because the bride doesn't go through the tribulation.
There have been so many "agreements" such as Oslo Accords that have gone nowhere (in that there is no peace. Peace, Peace and there is no peace).
Temple mount management has been a farce for years. People cannot pray to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob on territory that Israel was supposed to possess and won in a war. All this talk now and I just don't know if it is still going nowhere.

Time for peace? Is there time for the Lord Jesus Mr. Peres? Be still and make time for the Lord Jesus. There will be no lasting peace without the rule of the Lord Jesus.

I was just reading the first and second chapter of Mark and it kept popping out how many knew who Jesus was. They flocked to him. Demons cried out in his presence and Jesus commanded them to be quiet and come out.
What does this have to do with these times now? Kathy, Mary and all, Jesus kept on moving to other places to spread the gospel. The internet makes it possible to reach people and places that we would not reach in person. Could we agree together as believers that those in Judea, Galilee, Samaria, Golan Heights, all Gaza where the Philistines used to be, to be drawn to Jesus. Pray that the lying demons be quiet and cast out in Jesus name so that Israel is set free to worship God and recognize Jesus. Prepare the way of the Lord in His name by prayer?

Come back Lord Jesus, and I ask You, please, to quiet the lying spirits over all the territory that was intended for Your land Israel. Cast them out Lord. Set the people free spiritually so they may recognize You and worship God in truth. Cause their spiritual blindness and deafness to be healed so that they can recognize You. Reveal yourself Lord Jesus, gather together those 144,000 revealed in Revelation and please gather your bride home soon.
