The Lord God YHWH is the Potter and we are but clay, made in the mold of DNA that is shaped in the Potter's hands. By His Word John 1, by His plan and handiwork are we shaped in our mother's womb-Psalm 139 as seems good to Him.
The Lord is able to reshape us and has provided that way through Jesus who makes a way for us to literally be born again, not another flesh birth, but birth spiritually, our inner being reshaped after His image and one day, literally being birthed into heaven. No longer will we be bound by the earthly DNA clay mold, but we will be transformed using a heavenly mold by His power.

By the time the vial judgements of Revelation 16 take place, people have come to the place that Jeremiah describes in verse 12:
Jeremiah 18:12 KJV
And they said, There is no hope: but we will walk after our own devices, and we will every one do the imagination of his evil heart.
These are denying the power of the Potter. They deny the hope of life through Jesus. The words "there is no hope" denies the deity of Jesus Christ and divinity of the Father and the power of the Holy Spirit.
These are words that deny that YHWH is the Potter and we are the clay.
These repent not of their self righteousness and continue to deny the authority and authorship (is that a word?) of God in spite of their lack of control of the situation and the evident power of God to make and remove.

1Cor 15:35-58 35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come? 36 Thou fool, That which you sow does not come to life unless it dies;37 and that which you sow, you do not sow the body which is to be, but a bare grain, perhaps of wheat or of something else.38 But God gives it a body just as He wished, and to each of the seeds a body of its own.39 All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one flesh of men, and another flesh of beasts, and another flesh of birds, and another of fish.40 There are also heavenly bodies and earthly bodies, but the glory of the heavenly is one, and the glory of the earthly is another.41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for star differs from star in glory.

If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.45 So also it is written, “The first MAN, Adam, BECAME A LIVING SOUL.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.46 However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural; then the spiritual.47 The first man is from the earth, earthy; the second man is from heaven.48 As is the earthy, so also are those who are earthy; and as is the heavenly, so also are those who are heavenly.49 Just as we have borne the image of the earthy, we will also bear the image of the heavenly.

The Mystery of Resurrection

50 Now I say this, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.51 Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed,52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.53 For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality.54 But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, “DEATH IS SWALLOWED UP in victory.55 “O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY? O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR STING?”56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law;57 but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord.

1John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.


Thanks be to God, readers, because He is the Potter and we are the clay. He is able to remake us in another image, the heavenly image after the likeness of His Son, a helpmeet suited for Himself, made from His side, using His own blood shed/taken for us. Our Redeemer is drawing nigh. Our Redemption draws nigh.

Only by the power of Him Who made everthing is this possible:

1Thes 4:15-18 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

1 Corinthians 15:52
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

He is the Potter and we are the clay. All glory and thanks and power be to our Maker forever. Come quickly Lord Jesus. Your handiwork wants to be with You.
