1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing .

I hope this passage blesses you, Matthew 14:22-33.
Pastor FM Riley did a study The Rising Storm & the Rapture in Nov 2012. I looked up this passage and it dawned on me that Peter walked on the water with Jesus, back to the boat. Jesus reached out a hand to Peter when he feared and began to sink. Now think about this. Jesus lifted a grown man with one hand and kept him from sinking, then when they came into the ship, the wind ceased.

Jesus waited until the fourth watch to go to his disciples (3am-6am), the boat they were in was getting tossed, and the winds were contrary. A kind of worst case scenario, by the time 3am rolled around I wonder if they wondered where he was. Any been on a boat in a storm getting tossed? I have. Hanging on to keep from going overboard, fear, seasickness. A time of night when everything in you wants to be asleep. These guys were experienced fisherman but it still wasn't pleasant. Where is Jesus when we need him?
He is here RFTH, with an eye on us from above. The Holy Spirit is in the boat with us and is in us. We are just waiting for Jesus to call us to come.

Lord Jesus will You bid us come to You? Come quickly Lord Jesus
