1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing

T/Sue, Mark W., & our fellow TX RFTH brothers & sisters

I heard last night, that Northern Texas had been hit by several tornados overnight; that six were killed, while 17 others were injured, and that the power is out in your area.

Infact, Fox10 News is reporting on all the damage the tornados did out your way, as I'm typing this.

I surely hope 'n' pray that you're all OK!!!

Re: T/Sue, Mark W., & our fellow TX RFTH brothers & sisters

Tammy, thanks for asking. Yes, we had a turbulent night all over north Texas Wednesday. What a Pentecost. There were some rushing mighty winds but it was not Holy Spirit, but a spirit of destruction. Prince of the power of the air was on a rampage. There were 2 dead, 14 missing, and over 100 injured in a subdivision just on the west side of Ft Worth in a little town called Granbury. I heard this morning that 75 homes were completely destroyed. There was also some wind damage and tornados touching down in several other towns, but we just had heavy rain in my area.

Mark, we haven't heard from you in a long time. Praying all is well with you and your family. Let us know if you were affected by the storms.

Re: T/Sue, Mark W., & our fellow TX RFTH brothers & sisters

T/Sue,

I am sooo very glad that you're A-OK, and that these tornadoes didn't effect you!!!

When I saw the announcement on Fox10 News, I immediately thought of you & Mark W...as well as our other RFTH family members too.

I just now heard that one such tornado was a category 4...for which it did a great deal of damage.

Mark W., I'm w/Sue. We're waiting to hear from you now!!!

Thanks for your inquiry. I am up on the High Plains and well to the west and north of the storms that occurred that night.

Yeah, this is our busy time of the year. Just got through planting most of our cotton. Maybe only 30 acres left to do.

Re: T/Sue, Mark W., & our fellow TX RFTH brothers & sisters

Oh Wow Mark W, that's seems like a lot of hard work.
Hope you get it all done in time, or earlier, so that you can rest awhile.

I'm sure glad there are many different machines that help out in the fields on farms these days.

I don't know much or very little about planting cotton, but I've heard of a Cotton Gin - The cotton gin is a machine designed to remove cotton from its seeds.

Good to hear from you again Mark W.,I hope you still have time to read at RFTH, after your days work.

God Bless!

Mark W.

Wow Mark that sure sounds like a lot of hard work. Good to hear the storm didn't affect you.

Hope you get it all done in a time saving manner so that you can rest from
your work.

I'm sure glad there are many different machines that help out in the fields to get the work done faster these days.

Good to hear from you Mark, I hope you still find some time to read at RFTH, after a hard day's work.

God Bless!

Re: T/Sue, Mark W., & our fellow TX RFTH brothers & sisters

Thank you, Valerie. We hope to be through this week.

Let us be sure and keep those effected by today's weather (and tornado's)in our prayers. Like Sue, I routinely apply the blood of Jesus on my family, my farm and other property. It worked in Egypt in Moses day....and it still works today. :)
