1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing .

He is the One

On reading Valerie's post of Rapture Ready News, I was floored when it is reported a cardinal during the election of the new pope stated one sign "From the Lord" to him on the selection of the new pope indicated- "He is the One".

Where have we heard that phrase before?
Oh, it was from Oprah Winfrey on her choice for pres in '08.

Before that, was there another time? Yes, John the Baptist asked of Jesus- "Are you the One?"
In each case, the comment was made by a fore-runner.

This is for information only and not for discussion of the identity of the A/C.

Re: He is the One

Mike T.,

Honestly, I don't really care for Oprah's opinion, but I believe she did say that, and your absolutely correct.

However, I heard the same words "the one", and the Lord had another description of this certain person, other than the person you had mentioned.

While I was in prayer the day before 08 elections, the Lord let me know that Mr., is "the one" whom will fulfill his part in scripture as the A.C. I'll take what I heard from the Lord, over what Oprah had said any day of the week.

Brief comment of what I heard, and what I believe to this day.

Please no further discussions, for your sake, my, and the continued existence of this site. Thanks & God Bless!
