Spain recognizes Israel as Jewish homeland, for first time

Spain’s Foreign Minister Trinidad Jimenez presented a new policy for the Palestinian-Israeli conflict on Saturday, declaring Israel as the homeland of the Jews for the first time and saying that the issue of Palestinian refugees should be solved in such a way that it does not compromise Israel’s current demographic makeup of a Jewish majority.

Jimenez’s speech before the United Nations General Assembly is particularly dramatic in light of the fact that Spain is considered the leading EU country to support Palestinian rights. Adopting such a pro-Israel stance may lead to other countries to follow suit.

To think, before Spain...Canada also recognized Israel's right to exist, while the U.S. still still remains on shaky ground, due to O's stance. And we ALL know where he stands, don't we?

I find this very interesting. If I remember correctly Daniel 7:7-8 lists the revived Roman empire nations to arise from it. It sounds like that he is stating from number eleven this AC would emerge.

Number eleven was Spain in 1981 I believe it was..

Well, Spain is a Romance country, and the Antichrist will be of Roman descent, so it wouldn't surprise me if the Antichrist turned out to be Spanish. (Of course, he could just as well turn out to be Italian. =)) And we also know that he will pretend to be Israel's friend at first, which Obama has not done. This Foreign Minister of Spain, it seems, is seemingly Israel's friend. Whether he truly is remains to be seen.
