1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing

Interesting Coincidences...

"Fair Use for Information & Discussion Purposes"

I have come across something that is small but, still interesting. I was listening to Michael Rood and he stated something that I found that could be one of those things that makes you think :P He said that he believed Jesus to be born on Tishri 15 and I did some research and found some studies on the birth of Jesus.

The Birth of Jesus Christ.

Since Jesus was conceived six months after John the Baptist, and we have established a likely date for John's birth, we need only move six months farther down the Jewish calendar to arrive at a likely date for the birth of Jesus. From the 15th day of the 1st month, Nisan, we go to the 15th day of the 7th month, Tishri. And what do we find on that date? It is the festival of Tabernacles! The 15th day of Tishri begins the third and last festival of the year to which all the men of Israel were to gather in Jerusalem for Temple services.

Then from various sources that on passover Jesus died on a wednesday even supposedly hal lindsey supports this. here is a link

Now we come to the year 2011 and wednesday in the month on Tishri 1 which is Rosh Hoshanna could possibly start on a Wednesday the 28th. Possible clue?

Birth - Tishri Tabernacles
Death - Passover Wednesday

Return - Rosh Hashannah Wednesday in Tishri 1st september 28th????

Food for thought huh???

Re: Interesting Coincidences...

That's very good, and I agree that Jesus was crucified on a Wednesday. He had to, in order to be in the grave three days and three nights. Jesus compared himself to Jonah when he said that, just as Jonah was in the belly of the whale three day and three nights, so shall the son of man be in the heart of the earth three days and three nights. Now, we are watching this Feast of Trumpets timeframe to be fulfilled at the rapture of the bride. I pray that we will go home this year during that time!
