1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing

No vote on Friday???

Hello, could somebody help me understand what jpost.com and debka.com are saying regarding PA's comments today? It appears that they will give the UN security council time to mull things over and think about this prior to making a decision. This looks fishy and inconsistent with what they were saying before. Something behind the scenes perhaps that involves a forceful takeover of Jerusalem? Please help, I am not liking this, haha.

Re: No vote on Friday???

Trevor, where is the link to Jerusalem post about no vote on Friday...I went on the jpost and nothing there.

Could you post the link where you read this first.

Thanks!

Hi Valerie, hope you don't mind, here is an excerpt from a JPost article on 9/21/2011

PA to give UNSC some time to mull statehood bid'
The Palestinians will give the UN Security Council "some time" to study their application for full membership in the United Nations, a senior Palestinian official said on Wednesday.

"We will give some time to the Security Council to consider first our full membership request before heading to the General Assembly," Nabil Shaath, a senior official in Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah party, told reporters on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.

The move could buy more time for the US and the Quartet to come up with a formula to get the Palestinians and Israelis back to the negotiating table before a UN vote on recognition of a Palestinian state takes place.

Some UN diplomats and officials have said that the 15-nation Security Council might buy time by dragging out its review of the Palestinian UN membership application.

That review, they say, could theoretically take months, or even years.

Palestinian Authority officials expressed deep regret and anger over US President Barack Obama’s speech at the UN on Wednesday and reiterated the PA’s position for agreeing to the resumption of peace talks with Israel.

They said that despite Obama’s opposition, the PA would go ahead with its plan to submit a request for full membership of a Palestinian state to the Security Council on Thursday.

Re: No vote on Friday???

Sorry, I am new to blogging so I forget to provide links. Does it sound like they won't be voting on Friday? I heard they will give the USA weeks our even months to exercise their veto power. I wonder if this could transpire into an even more imminent confrontation with their enemies.

Re: No vote on Friday???

sure could make the Arabs mad

and starting a war to wipe Israel off the face of the earth is what every good muslim like Barak Hussain Obama would facilitate

without appearing to do so,

the passive AGGRESSIVE approach may just work out, (one eyebrow up)

(I am copying Kathie G. she is so funny/cute with the add on expressions)

Re: No vote on Friday???

Ha, ha! =)

Re: No vote on Friday???

You have some good expressions Kathie G.!!:)

Re: No vote on Friday???

yes, my confusion is the fact that the palestinians are the ones who are giving the united nations time to mull this over and think about it. this sounds like a 180 degree turn around from prior rhetoric,, I am becoming very suspicious!

Re: No vote on Friday???

I think something BIG is about to happening NOT only with this PA vote..statehood.BUT with Elenin alignment on Tuesday!!it would be 3 days of darkness from Tuesday to Friday.

Re: No vote on Friday???

On the evening news the latest was that they are still going to purpose it to the UN this Friday Sept. 23th, for a vote on a Palestinian statehood.

So stay tune, someone has it wrong, perhaps debka, as I don't see anyone else stating this as fact at present. Time will tell!

Maranatha!

Re: No vote on Friday???

Check out drudge report,,,, same story on there too. Hmm, we will see!

Re: No vote on Friday???

By what I heard on PBS tonight from O'bama and his speech was 180 from last May to divide Israel..

Well, that's easy to understand why, isn't it.. Election drawing near.

Abbas in his rhetoric stated that he was going ahead and push for the vote in the security council.

Unless things changed since a few minutes ago that is..

So I suppose we shall see this week-end..

Thanks regina, I'm happy you got the link to it.
Now they are saying they are going to submit it on Thursday Sept. 22nd, instead of Friday Sept. 23rd.
Things seem to change minute from minute, who knows what tomorrow may or may not bring...time will tell!

I know this shouldn't have any affect on the timing of the Rapture, because the Rapture is imminent, and God knows the exact day. Nothing needs to happen beforehand in order for the Rapture to take place. So as far as the Rapture is concerned, it's near even at the door. Perhaps the tribulation will be on hold for a little while longer due to the latest circumstances!

Thanks everyone for sharing!

Blessings!

"" And he-(AC)-shall confirm a covenant with the MANY for ONE-(7 days/7 years)...week and in the midst of that week he shall cause the abomination to occur...""Something ringing a bell of the AC being involved somehow????

Re: No vote on Friday???

the timing of the rapture was definitely my concern, here we are in the home stretch and of course it will never happen the way we predict it anyways! I am happy that nobody else seems to be bothered by all of this, that encourages me. even my coworkers were talking today about the connection between the upcoming disasters and what happens with Israel. It would be hard to believe that next week goes without a major event.

Re: No vote on Friday???

Thousands rally in Ramallah to back Palestinian statehood bid - Sounds like UN Vote will take place!

Take a look at the several articles under this thread, stating that the UN Vote may go ahead afterall. Especially the last post. We'll know for sure come this Friday September 23rd, 2011.
