1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

   For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

The road is very narrow and I can see how remembering to confess known and unknown sins frequently is the key to being ready,

and sometimes when my feelings are hurt unforgivness creeps in, so for me I really have to stay on top of that one!

Reminding my children about confessing their sins (1 John 1:9) all through the day doesn't make sense to them

and I know their young age makes it difficult for them to understand things of the Lord,

we have to pray for their/our discernment to stay ready, keeping our "lamps full" so we will be found worthy to go, whether by rapture or death for that matter.

I was thinking how Jesus did not have "receptors" to sin like we do,

he was not corrupted like we are, so to assist me in not sinning I am going to just not have "receptors" to sin.

I'll let you know how that works out. Dear Lord have Mercy on us as we approach the finish line.
