I’ve been really stressing about this lately. It feels like my wardrobe is so faceless and boring. And what’s worst, it doesn’t reflect me at all, my personality and all that. But I have no idea where to start either. I feel like you need some understanding of how to combine things, and I don’t know how to do that.
Re: Do you think you have your own clothing style?
I don’t really bother much about my appearance. I wear what’s comfortable for me. Usually it’s all kinds of oversized stuff. I don’t know if it looks good or bad, but I’m completely fine with it.
Re: Do you think you have your own clothing style?
Usually that’s said by people who look great. You know, that attractive carelessness, when the clothes are clean and nice, but it doesn’t look like the person spent a whole hour putting together an outfit. Personally, what helps me with building a wardrobe is visual exposure. I love Pinterest for that. I find people with a similar figure and body type, look at how they dress, and try to pick something for myself. And in general, we’re all different. Some people are into a poker themed graphic tshirt, others can’t stand printed pieces in their wardrobe. I’m not even getting into color, cut, and style. It’s a long process and, first of all, about finding yourself.
