November Morel???

I just found what looks a lot like a morel mushroom growing in my yard??? It's November 10th!!!! Is there any possibility that this is anything but a morel? When I washed it, the top was very pale. (same white as the stem) It's shaped like what my ex-husband always called a dog pecker, but like I said, the tip is very pale. (sorry, but that's what he called them!)

I don't recall ever finding a Morel that time of year or having a report of one - anyone else?

Of course, as goofy as the weather is right now (60 degrees in Central IL on January 6) nothing surprises me!

I've heard of fall morels but have never seen one myself. If only there were 2 seasons!
