Absolutely a strange year. No grays at all and then huge yellows, but short-lived. We wound up with around two pounds and several people I talked to found nada! The prevailing wisdom is that it is still possible to find Morels until 3 consecutive days over 80 degrees, but the undergrowth is so thick and now it is rainy and most of the areas we hunt would be like toboggan runs.
