Hi all just acquired another wm20 for my lad can anyone give me a year date for the engine and frame and if poss the C numbers
The frame number is wm20-18997 and the engine number is wm20-2093041 and underneath the wm20 part of the engine number is a capital B
This is what I can find for the BSA with frame number WM20 18997. The handwriting in the ledgers is sometimes hard to read, but I am pretty sure that it left the factory 20-5-1940.The tank number was C4171211.
