My pannier racking and mudguard stays got very bent when my brake stay came loose.
As the racking is old and pitted I wondered if powder coating would be better than stove enamalling.
I am going to hand paint the frame where I heated it up and bent it back into shape.
Also, when heating up the frame I couldn't help but notice water boiling out from inside it. Would waxoil sprayed inside help prevent corrosion from the inside out?
I intend to use Olive Drab....is this reasonably OK as a colour for these bikes?
Fish oil is the go for the inside of the frame .
Good to do it after the frame has been heated ,here we can just leave em in the sunlight, even in winter.
