Re: M20 twin from Ireland

There's nothing like arriving 5 minutes before you arrive....

A very silly idea really which is possibly why it's for sale.. ...Ian.

That depends how tightly the three frame sections are bolted together !

Is it a Dublin special or a Dubblingine special ?

Re: M20 twin from Ireland

It probably looks great after 12 pints of Guinness... ..

But who's going to try and explain the two frame numbers and two engine numbers to the DVLA?.....Ian

Re: M20 twin from Ireland

the problem will be to get the engine running exactly together and not pulling against each other I worked on a twin engine mini moke which was called a mini mule it was unsuccessful because we couldn't get both engine to run and rev exactly the same maybe with todays electronics it could be achieved

Re: M20 twin from Ireland

Half of the solution would be to use one carb for both,
with inlet manifold at the same length as possible from carb to both barrels..

Re: M20 twin from Ireland

The first engine is very low compression and easy to start so you kick it over and use it to start the main engine.... Simples!
