I was stationed at Harvey Barracks, A 1/15 INF. from January \'77 to August \'79. I was in 1st platoon as a squad leader. I earned the EIB there and went to PNCOC while there. Enjoyed some of the pictures. Really brought back memories. Thanks Glenn Rodman

Hi, Dave
I came across your website of Charlie Company its great. I was reading about the recent floods in Germany. Anyway it brought back a lot of memories especially that pic with sprouse, and some others that were there before i left the unit. Anyway great job and i will check back later.

Hi.

My name is Eric Nguyen and I\'m currently a beta tester for a video game focused on the \'75-85 period in Scandinavia, Wargame : Airland Battle. A previous installment, Wargame : European Escalation, was focused on Central Europe and had less countries and units modeled.

One of the running gags we have on the forum of this game is the \"CULT OF THE AUTOCANNON\", i.e. selecting a lot of units with autocannons as they are pretty effective against any soft targets, and of course, the M2 Bradley is one of our favorite units for that. A few days ago, I ventured into a scale model exhibition and noticed exactly the same M2 in 1:35 as modeled in the game, with \"STILL SMOKIN\" stenciled on the sides of the hull. Note I just launched W:EE to check again, and \"STILL SMOKIN\" was already present in W:EE.

So after a few searches on Google, I discovered it was a scale model produced by Tamiya, and on Tamiya USA\'s website, I found the manual for its assembly and painting. For one of the machines depicted, \"STILL SMOKIN\", it states it was a machine from the 3rd ID in W. Germany, so after a few more searches on Google, I stumbled on your website, and of course found the anecdote about the Japanese photographers.

So, if being immortalized in plastic wasn\'t enough for Charlie Company, you can now also boast C-33 has been immortalized in two video games. :)

Here\'s a screenshot showing its 3D model in W:ALB : http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=146809826

And if you want to post something, here\'s the forum thread we have about C-33 : http://www.wargame-ee.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=91&t=28981

BTW, do you happen to know what happened to this machine ? It\'s been 30 years now, so I\'m not even sure if it\'s still operational.

Best Regards and Thank you for your service
