I had just deposited a work bonus into my Dave account to cover some overdue bills. Out of nowhere, I got locked out and couldn’t touch a cent. I read through dave banking reviews and found a bunch of folks talking about random holds too. I contacted support again but this time attached my deposit receipt and timeline in a written complaint. That got them moving — they unblocked my account two days later and credited me $15 for “inconvenience.” Still debating if I should keep using them long-term though.
