Re: Exclaim (CA) EOY 2011

Oy. OK, what should I do with all these? Seems like I should just include all of them, in separate columns - there's no all-encompassing list, and it wouldn't be fair not to include all these albums. On the other hand, these are all more or less single-genre lists, so I'm not sure how they should be weighted. I need a little guidance on this, Henrik. Thanks in advance, as always.

Re: Exclaim (CA) EOY 2011

Henrik, please let me know how I should score these - a lot of albums stand to be affected by the inclusion of these lists, and I want to add them ASAP. Thanks!

Re: Exclaim (CA) EOY 2011

The easiest would be to add them as they are, perhaps in the same column so they don't take up too much space. The +30
number should not be too high, something just above 30 probably.

Thanks! There are exactly 120 albums on the lists altogether; if I'm putting all the lists in the same column, should the weighting number be 60 since no individual list has more than 30 entries?

My suggestion is to take a number as close as possible to the length of the lists. This is because most of the lists end before 20 and since the scale is skewed the difference in score between, say 20 and 30, is actually bigger than the difference in score between 120 and 150, which would have been used if it was one long list. However, I suggest 31 as it should of course not be a disadvantage to be in the top 30 list.

Re: Exclaim (CA) EOY 2011

31 it is. Thanks, Henrik!
