Re: American Songwriter (USA) EOY 2011

OK, this is the second USA top 50 in two days that doesn't include PJ Harvey at all. I know it's early, but will this be a trend?

Kurt Vile and Radiohead are doing a lot better than expected so far (I know, I know, they're Radiohead, but during the year TKOL was looking like their least-acclaimed album since the debut).

Re: American Songwriter (USA) EOY 2011

Any list that doesn't include tUnE-yArDs' brilliant "WHOKILL" has no credibility with me.

Well, In Rainbows was topping a good majority of these lists. Amnesiac and H2TT also topped a few and regularly landed in the upper regions. Time will tell, but it doesn't look like TKOL will do quite as well. I personally hope it does do well, I thought a lot of publications didn't give it the attention it requires before they posted their reviews.

Re: American Songwriter (USA) EOY 2011

Just realized this: AS didn't do an EOY for 2010, did they?
