One of the better Indie websites begins their end of decade countdown a few months after everyone else. They posted the first twenty today, and will continue until Friday. So far it's interesting, although they admit to not having any Sufjan Stevens so that's unfortunate.

Well, I guess Funeral isn't their #1 album then. I thought Funeral and YHF were both locked for T10, but I guess there's very little predictable about this list at all. Here's my stab at the T20
Animal Collective - Merriweather Post Pavillion

Ghostface Killah - Supreme Clientele
Interpol - Turn on the Bright Lights

Panda Bear - Person Pitch
Portishead - Third
Radiohead - In Rainbows
Radiohead - Kid A
The White Stripes - White Blood Cells
Well, one of those other 4 is by whoever the f*** Graham Lambkin is, because they made a point on page 1 of saying "yes, Sufjan Stevens is not on this list, but Graham Lambkin is." What an odd list - as they also said, plenty of "the usual suspects" are here, but there are also no less than eleven albums in their top 50 - so far - that have not appeared in ANY of the other lists on the EOD spreadsheet.
Yeah this list is very strange. I read TMT two or three times a week, and I haven't heard almost half of these albums. Their EOY lists are usually pretty normal, so I think they're just trying to be different. Funeral received a 5/5 from them and topped their 04 EOY list and couldn't crack the T20.
When I saw Sung Tongs at #2, I legitimately didn't know what #1 was. This has got to be easily the most out-of-left-field list out of any on the spreadsheet. What I really can't get though, is that Deerhunter's Microcastle didn't make the list at all. They gave it the very rare 5/5 rating, and called it their top album of 2008.

I know, I was pretty disappointed. As a huge fan of Microcastle, I was sure this list would boost it's AM ranking. Their prior EOY lists sure don't resemble their EOD list.
