25 Norwegian albums you should own.

The Norwegian internet newspaper Nettavisen has made a list of 25 Norwegian albums everyone should own. Probably aimed at a Norwegian audience, but still..

Do you guys have any of these?

I have Melody A.M. by Röyksopp.
Versus by Kings of Convenience is my favourite remix album ever and it's in my top 10 of 2001. Quiet is the New Loud is like demo of Versus.

But where are all black metal albums? Emperor, Dimmu Borgir etc.??

I don't have any of them, but I'm interested in getting the a-ha albums.

My favorite Norwegian artist is Annie, and I have Anniemal and just about every single she's released!

Darkthrone is in there, but I disagree that it's the only metal album you should own. Go for these:

Dimmu Borgir - Enthrone Darkness Triumphant
Einherjer - Norwegian Native Art
Satyricon - Now, Diabolical
Mayhem - De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas
Enslaved - Ruun
Immortal - Battles in the North
Emperor - Anthems to the Welkin at Dust
Khold - Mørke gravers kammer

Also check out the band Ulver, one of Norway's most interesting bands. They're not always black metal, but has a black metal "feel" to all they're doing, it being metal, trip hop or folk music.

DeLillos, Motorpsycho, Dum Dum Boys, and yeah sure, Turbonegro, Röyksopp, KOC, 120 Days, Lindstrøm.. but mee favourite definitely is Midnight Choir. Amsterdam Stranded alone makes me

I think I leave those black metal albums to others (but I must check Ulver).
I was only a bit surprised that there weren't more metal albums in the list.
