In case someone is wondering...

1. I took a time out and spent almost a week at my parents over Christmas.
2. Then I listened like a madman to the '80s albums and songs in order to rank them for the '80s poll.
3. Then I caught the flu and have been lying in bed a few days. I'm starting to feel somewhat better and in a couple of days I can probably start catching up with the EOY lists again.

Dude.... Take'r easy! I enjoy the lists as much as the next guy. Its the Holidays man, Chillax!

Yeah you've had it bad enough having to listen to all the crap that came out of the 80s. That's enough to make anyone sick

Yeah, but out of all the rock decades except the 00's it has the most nauseating overground scene.

I'd pick any single year of the last 8 years over the entire 80s mainstream music scene.

Personally i loved this decade. Kid A Is my favourite album of all time. As of right now I have 19 albums from this decade in my all time top 100 exluding Jazz records.
