Hank's appeal is hard to pin down in writing. I think you need to head out where the pine trees grow with a transistor radio. Keep turning the dial until you hear "Hey Good Loking" or "Half As Much." Then you'll know about Hank. (You may need to go back to North America circa 1963, or even earlier, to ensure success.)

I just saw The Last Picture Show, which uses many of Hank's songs. What a great movie. What a great musician!
