Help me about a dinner romantic

I wanted to recommend me some songs for a dinner with my girlfriend.
I love songs are used the verve - The Drugs Don't Work, Bitter Sweet Symphony - Oasis - Stop Crying Your Heart Out.
That they are of that style.
Many thank you.

Re: Help me about a dinner romantic

Some Richard Hawley would be perfect for a romantic dinner.
You can also try the Paul McCartney album "Chaos and creation in the backyard" (the first kiss with my last girlfriend was on "A certain softness" ).
Ed Harcourt and Rufus Wainwright are perfect too for romantic time.

Re: Help me about a dinner romantic

salut homonyme

Dumbangel's idea is great : Richard Hawley is the last of the romantics.
I should recommend some Divine Comedy too (and if you like th 60's, Roy Orbison.
But I'll hope you won't listen to the music too much !

Re: Help me about a dinner romantic

... and rufus Wainwright too (the first album is a masterpiece)

Merci à toi Dumbangel.
But are there non-French romantics out here ?

Re: Help me about a dinner romantic

In fact everything would be better than Carla Bruni's last album...
(i hope, Nicolas, that you're not the President)

Re: Help me about a dinner romantic

I thought I was talking to the Nicolas we use to talk to in this forum .
If the "new" Nicolas is our french President and gonna have a romantic dinner with Carla, then I would be very happy to see them listen some Richard Hawley !

Re: Help me about a dinner romantic

No, that was not me
I don't think I would play some Verve at a love dinner, but maybe some Richard Hawley.
Or some sexy thing like Al Green or Prince

Re: Help me about a dinner romantic

Anyway, bienvenue Nicolas
I suggest that if you want to come more often you should change your pseudo, maybe a little, using Nico for instance or Nicolas + another name

Re: Help me about a dinner romantic

I knew that wasn't you. The Richard Hawley thing had me fooled but I've never seen you use broken English before. Not to say, that I'm condemning broken English since there are a bunch of non-native speakers here, I just have never seen it from you!

Re: Help me about a dinner romantic

the Blue Nile has some pretty romantic songs.
