Also John, if I haven't said it yet, thanks for running this game. We can have Survivor games until the end of time and I'll be happy. They hold up much better than the show itself.

Chevi and Dumbangel,you're killing me. Is 'Yesterday' really the worst of the songs left?

Midaso, I'm more a McCartney fan than a John Lennon one, I love Paul's ballads but yes, I think that "Yesterday" is the less good of the songs that remains in this game.
Compared to "She's leaving home", "Here there and everywhere", "If I fell", "Girl" or "And I love her", I find "Yesterday" a little boring.
But it has to be relativised to the 40 best Beatles songs because "Yesterday" is still better than 95% of the music (or things called as such) created in the world in my humble opinion.

Midaso, in this cut 34 you've kicked out "Across the universe", how can it be possible ?

These last two picks are new for me this week. Neither is bad, but as we get into the top forty, I don’t think the bits of the Great Abbey Road Medley really belong.

The only song that left this week that I voted for was "Taxman," the rest I had quite high on my list, and I'm pretty sad to see go. Oh well. They still made it quite far!

Well, at least to me :). In my opinion it's overrated, but maybe i've heard so many versions of it that they have dulled my senses of how good it actually sound. But, for instance, i think McCartney did it way better with a string quartet in Eleanor Rigby.

Yeah, Walrus is my 2nd favorite song. It's a shame that it was eliminated, even more taking into account that it ended in the AM top 100 songs .

Sad week for me: Walrus is my #4, and Yesterday, my #2, looks to be going as well. Ah well: Such is life in a game where a couple of 5-point positions can spell death.
