It's totally Hold Steady next month.

Our lists have the same top five in different orders. And seven of the same top ten.

I haven't heard either, but I'm assuming it's either Beck or The Hold Steady next.

I'll go with The Hold Steady as well.

Oh, I thought it was first person to answer correctly gets the prize. That's ok I already own Fleet Foxes and I'm not lucky anyway.

yeah i thought first to guess right wins too! oh well. maybe this month i will win. since its not first to guess then ill go for The Hold Steady - Stay Positive as well.

I don't think it's going to be Hold Steady. From what I've heard, it's pretty similar to the old formula and that's not going to win over critics. I doubt it's Beck either. I'm definitely holding off on this one even though I can change my vote.

I'd like to see new albums of Ron Sexsmith, Neil Halstead and Primal Scream as best reviewed albums of July but I sadly had to admit that only the new Hold Steady record can be the lucky one.

I think that even a big one like Beck won't resist to the new Hold Steady hype.

I've already seen a 5 star review for the Hold Steady album.

Plus, Beck's last two albums got only middle-high reviews. Generally positive but not top of the list. He's the sort of guy who changes up his style enough he could make another great album at any time, but I wouldn't predict it.

I'd also give an outside shot to Mercury Rev. Also, an outside outside shot to The Verve, which might get tons of early reviews because of leaks and promos.
