I just discovered "Village Green." Brilliant album. Which one should I get next?

!!!213 of all time? 12 for the year? I was thinking it was 23 all time; that must be where it is on RYM. That's where it should be.

I'd suggest Arthur but I'm sure others will say Something Else. Might as well get both but I like Arthur a little more. Face To Face has a ton of great songs on it as well but it isn't very consistent.

You can't go wrong with either Arthur or Something Else. I'd get them in that order.

Okay, you've got Village Green; if you love it, you'll want to eventually pick up the following, I suggest in this order:

Something Else
Arthur
Face To Face
Lola
Kontroversy

Then, if you're still loving every second of the glorious Kinks sounds, pick up the early bunch and Muswell. If you still want more you can delve into the 80s, but you will be listening to a very different sound, although some of it, especially the hits, is quite good.

Don't forget Muswell Hillbillies. There are some brilliant tunes on that one.
