I just heard the sad news of Oscar Peterson's passing on Sunday. I know very little about jazz, but always loved what I heard from Peterson. He swung hard, but at the same time, his phrasing (particularly when accompanying vocal tracks) was light and lyrical.

As I said, I know very little about jazz, and included very few jazz albums on my top-100 list, but Peterson features heavily on two of them.
