They did it again. There are a couple weak tracks but overall it's great. I hate that it came out so late in the year but I think I have to say: Best album of the year.
You have to hear The Heart Gently Weeps yes the tune that takes the Beatles While My Guitar Gently Weeps melody. Red Hot Chilli Peppers guitarist John Frusciante is on the track it is the most talked about track on the album.
It's a pretty good track and understandably the most talked about. It also features George Harrison's son Dhani. But, it's not even close to the best.
The interesting part about this album is how little input Ghostface and Raekwon had and how good it still is. I was thinking the riff between those two and RZA would hurt the album, but it's hardly even noticeable that they check out on a lot of tracks. RZA's production is amazing and so diverse. He's always been cutting edge in his production but never as diverse.
