She started losing me after the first two (to be totally honest, I like the Sugarcubes better than her solo stuff, but I realize I'm very much in the minority there).
Yeah, I know, I put Volta #2, but that's how it is: at first I didn't quite like it, and now I can't live w/out it... And yes, I put DR9, because it's such a moving album... Anybody doesn't agree?
Dumby, how can you say your favorite is Debut, as it's about the only Bjork album you own?
Hack, actually, I might even change my list so as to put Volta #1...
One thing is sure about Bjork :
the cover art of "volta" is the worst cover art of the all-time music history. That's just my opinion but that's the first time that a cover art made me such a reject effect.
Vespertine by far, and I love all of her output. It is the most unabashedly beautiful, healing album I have ever heard. It really has been a blessing in my life. The love and care she put into every measure of that album just pours out. I know I'm gushing, but Vespertine really merits it, in my opinion. My favorite album of the 2000s, and I don't see anything else challenging it.
