Man, just for the record, this has been an absolute go-to list for vaguely obscure finds. I've listened to and loved the following albums largely because of this list:
Avey Tare and Panda Bear
Solex - Low Kick and Hard Bop
Department of Eagles - Whitey on the Moon UK LP
Gas - Pop
Twilight Singers
Solex's Low Kick and Hard Bop is an absolute masterpiece that I could only have discovered through European critics. Haven't heard the others though, but it is a good list, going by what I have heard.
Good to see Is This It NOT on the list. Not that I don't think it's in the top 100 albums from that period, but I'd like to see it knocked out of the top 100 of all time.
