Thanks...

for posting, Charlie.

Q writers remain consistent with what they select as Madge's best.

Re: New Q magazine - 80 best records of the 80's

Yes, thanks Charlie!

Funny coincidence with Mojo's 70 of the 70s and Q's 80 of the 80s coming out at the same time. Will NME present 90 of the 90s maybe?

Re: New Q magazine - 80 best records of the 80's

Or 0 of the 00s

Re: New Q magazine - 80 best records of the 80's

The new UNCUT is the 100 Greatest Debuts Of All Time ! will post...

Re: New Q magazine - 80 best records of the 80's

I like Q, and I stand by that, but I do dislike their current tracks/singles bias. Even though current kids don't realize, albums will always be the most important music format, the format where you will know whether an act holds up artistically or has just been lucky and come up with one memorable hook by a strike of luck. Both this list and the more recent guilty pleasures list should have been Album Top 100s rather than having all those stupid singles lists.

Wha? Licensed to Ill? Over Paul's Boutique? Ew.
