As for the rest of the list, I'd just like to go on record as saying {yawn}
They did 4 singles lists - Top 10 of 2005, Top 10 Downloads, Top 10 Hip-Hop, and Top 10 Country.
Here's what I remember:
Top 10 of 2005
1. "1 Thing" - Amerie
2. "Trapped In The Closet" - R Kelly
3. "Pon de Replay" - Rihanna
4. "Welcome To Jamrock" - Damien Marley
5. "Gold Digger" - Kanye
6. "Hollback Girl" - Gwen
Top 10 Country
1. "Alcohol" - Brad Paisley
"Kerosene" and "Best I Ever Had" were on the list
9. "Making Memories Of Us" - Keith Urban
I just purchaced a few of these albums, and I can see why Kanye's up on top since he's sort of the new Dre of this generation. However 50 Cent is a little too poppish for me, and as well Gorilaz is a little overrated. M.I.A. however was probably the best new artist in my opinion. That was some unique stuff.
10. Sitthin' Sidewayz, Paul Wall Featuring Big Pokey
9. Rakata, Wisin and Yandel
8. Do You Want To, Franz Ferdinand
7. Still Trippin', Mike Jones, Slim Thug and Paul Wall
6. Hollaback Girl, Gwen Stefani
5. Gold Digger, Kanye West Featuring Jamie Foxx
4. Welcome to Jamrock, Damian Marley
3. Pon de Replay, Rhianna
2. Trapped in the CLoset (Part 1-12), R. Kelly
1. 1 Thing, Amerie
Henrik- didn't RS have 2 singles lists last year? I think a second critics' list was published in the Readers' Poll edition, too.
