Re: Porcys top 100 albums from 2000-2004

Great to see Kid A deservedly at #1, i think Yoshimi battles the Pink Robots should be higher though

Re: Porcys top 100 albums from 2000-2004

Jacek, I'm assuming that the Avalanches and Trail of Dead albums at #6 and #7 are SINCE I LEFT YOU and SOURCE TAGS & CODES, respectively, but could you clarify that, please? Thanks.

Re: Porcys top 100 albums from 2000-2004

good to see bss at # 10

Re: Porcys top 100 albums from 2000-2004

Man, just for the record, this has been an absolute go-to list for vaguely obscure finds. I've listened to and loved the following albums largely because of this list:

Avey Tare and Panda Bear
Solex - Low Kick and Hard Bop
Department of Eagles - Whitey on the Moon UK LP
Gas - Pop
Twilight Singers

Re: Porcys top 100 albums from 2000-2004

Solex's Low Kick and Hard Bop is an absolute masterpiece that I could only have discovered through European critics. Haven't heard the others though, but it is a good list, going by what I have heard.

Re: Porcys top 100 albums from 2000-2004

This is a cool list. I like a lot of stuff on here so I'm going to have to check out the stuff I haven't heard.

Re: Porcys top 100 albums from 2000-2004

Hopfully this gets counted in the next update. Nothing make me happier than seeing Kid A move up the ladder

Re: Porcys top 100 albums from 2000-2004

lol...guess I shoulda checked first...lol..damn you all for posting an old list..lol

Re: Porcys top 100 albums from 2000-2004

haha actually this thread started before Henrik used it, but Collin bumped it up. Waaaay up. It also got me at first too.

Still, good list to bump up. It immediately made me like Porcys. More than, say, Teraz Rock also in Poland.

Re: Porcys top 100 albums from 2000-2004

I've heard 19 of them. I actually liked 4 of those I've heard:

YOSHIMI...,QUALITY, BLAZING ARROW, and BLOODFLOWERS.

Re: Porcys top 100 albums from 2000-2004

No White Stripes?

Agree with the #1 though.

Good to see Is This It NOT on the list. Not that I don't think it's in the top 100 albums from that period, but I'd like to see it knocked out of the top 100 of all time.
